We've Got Friends in High Places...

Just back from the Outdoor Retailer Show in Denver, the world’s leading business-to-business outdoor sports show where industry brands, retailers, reps, suppliers and leaders gather.

As usual, it was a great show with a lot of positive energy and buzz!
At the show, we launched our new Vortech II GMT/Alarm watch and industry insiders grabbed every sample we took to the show. A leading outdoor publication has called Momentum a "Killer Value" and the new Vortech II is no exception. Both stylish and functional, it's so light you'll forget it is on your wrist. (We also just made a special version of this new watch for the United States Marine Corps.) This is the ideal watch for pilots, travelers, or anyone who likes to get outside. You can even add a sapphire crystal that is next to impossible to scratch. (Get the whole story on the Vortech)
Our youngest customer at the show was Noah, whose dad Eric designs and builds some of the most amazing BMX tracks in the world, up to Olympic level. Noah picked up a Mini at the show, showing us that even little dudes can rock awesome watches!
Another visitor at OR was Aldrin Gotianun of The Leather Ukulele. Aldrin has been in the outdoor industry for a long time and is seriously talented at making very cool, hand-tooled leather products. He picked up one of our red Torpedo Blast models (an Outside Magazine Gear Guide selection) at OR last year, and really made it his own with the handmade matching leather strap he put together in his shop. (Check out more of Aldrin's work!)
We were very happy to be at the show this year, each member of our team had a blast (no pun intended) and that probably goes for everyone there! You could feel the good vibes all around. If you're gonna be at the Outdoor Retailer Show next year or even just in Vancouver, come by and say hi! We're always looking to meet some Momentum Fans and talk shop. Well, until next time!
What we are listening to. Our founder, Simon is particularly partial to the blues.
Catch you later alligator.
